In the Culture TodayGroup Activity 1 - "Your Itinerary," you researched the historical, economic, geographical, artistic and cultural highlights of a day or destination on your itinerary. Now it is time to take the information you learned and present your findings and recommendations to the rest of your classmates and travel companions.
In a Powerpoint or in another slideshow format, create a presentation that will inform and inspire your classmates. You will be going on an amazing trip and the day or destination you chose to research for the itinerary offers a lot to learn.
Pick out the best and most interesting facts you learned and create a presentation with the same small group you partnered with to do the research.
Plan who will present, all of you or one of you?
Can you do your presentation in the target language? Go for it!
Limit your presentation to 15 minutes. You may have other classmates who need to share their itinerary information too!
Will you be able to see and do all of the things you are highlighting in your presentation? You may not be able to but now is the time to understand what is realistic about your itinerary and make the most out of what you will see and do.
